In recent years, some of the world\u2019s most celebrated musicians have responded to the ubiquity of smartphones at live shows by banning or discouraging phone use to foster more immersive, distraction-free concert experiences. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Artists such as Bob Dylan, Jack White and Adele have been among those who have taken visible steps to reduce or eliminate phone use during their performances, reflecting a broader industry conversation about focus, engagement and audience experience at live events.<\/p>\n

Bob Dylan\u2019s Strict Phone Policy<\/b><\/h3>\n

Legendary singer-songwriter Bob Dylan has implemented a strict phone ban on recent tours, requiring concertgoers to switch off their devices and place them into locked pouches<\/a> upon entry. Although not as widely documented with strict enforcement mechanisms as Dylan or White, Adele has been named among artists who have expressed support for or implemented phone-free elements at concerts. In popular coverage highlighting the trend, Adele is referenced alongside Dylan and others in the context of discouraging phone use at shows to enhance audience connection and presence.<\/p>\n
